The project

A small room that deserved a bold finish

The shower room was dated and cramped: a narrow enclosure, green mosaic walls and a floor that had seen better days.

The clients wanted something warmer and more characterful without losing any of the room’s practicality.

We took the room back to the joists, rebuilt the floor and services and planned a larger quadrant shower in the corner.

Rose marble wraps the shower, while a curved black-framed enclosure, a black vanity and matt black fittings give the room definition.

Design direction

We paired warm rose marble with black-framed glass, a compact black vanity and soft neutral tiles on the remaining walls.

The plan

Every centimetre has a role

A larger quadrant shower fits the corner, the vanity sits by the door and the toilet tucks under the window.
